Refunds and Credits Policy

Making a video costs us real money, so LaunchCut runs on credits. This policy explains how credits work and when you can get money or credits back.

1How credits work

  • Each second of finished video costs 10 credits: a 15-second video uses 150 credits and a 30-second video uses 300.
  • You always see the price before you create a Video.
  • A revision costs 60% of the original Video’s price.

2Failed videos

If a Video fails or does not finish, its credits come back to your balance automatically. You do not need to ask.

3Videos with a defect

If a finished Video has a clear technical defect, such as missing audio, cut-off text or the wrong language, email us within 14 days. We will make it again or return its credits.

Creative preferences, such as tone, music choice or pacing, are handled with a revision.

4Unused purchases

If you bought a plan or credit pack and have not used any of its credits, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of the charge.

Credits that have been used are not refundable.

5Cancelling a plan

You can cancel any time from Manage billing. Your plan and its credits stay active until the end of the period you paid for, and you will not be charged again. We do not refund the unused part of a period, except as described above or where the law requires it.

6How to ask for a refund

Email hello@launchcut.co from the address on your account and include the date of the charge. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through our payment partner, Creem, and usually arrive within 5 to 10 business days.

Please contact us before opening a chargeback. We can usually fix the problem faster, and chargebacks may lead to the account being suspended while they are resolved.

7Your legal rights

This policy does not limit any rights you have under consumer protection law where you live.
